2023 Amador County Zinfandel
The 2023 Amador County Zinfandel is a co-fermentation of 100+ year old vines and some 40+ year old vines from the Fox Creek Vineyard in the Shanandoah Valley AVA. Over the years, my syle of winemaking with this wine has fluctuauted and the 23 lands me in the place I feel most comfortable. Picking when it's ripe (ready) and letting the pedigree of the vineyard do the rest of the talking. One of the best iterations of this wine yet with bright red raspberry, great acidity, forgiving tannins and a long finish. All hail California Zinfandel!
